Samantha Alicia Demory
Samantha Demory was born and raised in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. She attended local universities, UTSA - Biology Degree and St Mary's University - Juris Doctorate, and handled the accounting for her parent's commercial flooring corporation for over 10 years prior to becoming a licensed attorney in 2012. Her first job as attorney was with the firm Christopher J. Weber LLC, and her duties covered all aspects of civil litigation from initial client meetings through negotiated settlement agreements or trial. Her case load was widely varied to include: transactional matters such as estate plans, civil matters litigated in state court, federal court and bankruptcy court, probate and guardianship cases, real estate disputes and conveyances, home owners association disputes, landlord tenant disputes, adoptions, and family law litigation.
Her interests in long term financial wealth building sparked a passion for real estate investing and that ultimately led her to open her open up her own law practice at the beginning of 2015. She believes that a good financial plan requires that current and potential business owners or individuals examine both short term and long term business systems and protections available. Her counsel on the subject begins with proper entity formation, it includes counsel on due diligence prior to and while holding real property, and it covers the often overlooked estate planning which essential for the future.
Ms. Demory has also taken a keen interest in fiscally responsibility as it relates to the rising cost of litigation. Because so many cases can and should be resolved prior to reaching trial, she obtained her mediation certificate and family law mediation certificate in 2012, and she mediates cases on a monthly basis at the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center and privately at her place of practice.
Ms. Demory also enjoys being very active in her community. She is a member of a local non-profit pet therapy group, and she takes her own certified therapy dog to visit children at hospitals and at other childrens events. She also teaches ballroom dance classes in her spare time, and she is becoming more active within the local art districts. She has learned that involvement with the community and helping to develop the local community increases the passion for ones own work and that when you connect with local people with the intent to serve, success usually follows.
